‘She Belongs in Jail’: Hawley Releases Statement After Judge Reduces Bond of Illegal Immigrant Charged with Killing of Missouri Boy
Today, U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) released the following statement after a judge reduced the bond of illegal immigrant Endrina Bracho, who killed Missouri’s 12-year-old Travis Wolfe in a head-on collision. "Illegal alien Endrina Bracho killed 12-year-old Travis Wolfe while driving w/o a license, in the wrong lane, 35 miles per hour over the limit. Now a judge has reduced her bond. This is wrong. She belongs in jail, not on Missouri streets," Senator Hawley wrote. Two weeks ago, Senator Hawley demanded Bracho's cash bond not be reduced in response to news of a possible bond reduction hearing in her case.
Hawley Exposes Intel Corporation for Investing Billions in Chinese Tech While Cutting American Jobs & Failing to Condemn Slave Labor
In yesterday's Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations hearing, U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) questioned Intel Corporation's Chief Trade Officer Jeff Rittener on his company's documented groveling to China, namely the billions it has invested in Chinese artificial intelligence and other technologies. Senator Hawley went on to call out Rittener for favoring Beijing, America's chief competitor, and Intel's executives over his own company's rank-and-file employees. "Did you think it was efficient to give your CEO a 45 percent pay increase year-over-year, while you're cutting 15,000 jobs?" Senator Hawley asked Rittener. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2G7onHVEEvU Senator Hawley also pressed Rittener on...
Hawley Urges Postmaster General To Reconsider Policy That Would Exacerbate Delivery Delays for Rural Missourians
Today U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) sent a letter to Postmaster General and United States Postal Service (USPS) CEO Louis DeJoy raising concerns regarding proposed operational changes to USPS that could compound delivery delays that rural Missourians are already experiencing. For countless rural Americans, reliable and timely access to federal mail services is a lifeline that keeps businesses open and families connected. "I am alarmed by the possibility you would implement additional changes to further degrade service quality at a time when USPS is failing to deliver Missourians’ mail in a consistent and reliable manner," the Senator wrote. "Recent reports state that your proposal, which would reduce the number of trips trucks take to rural areas, could...
Hawley Demands Action After Whistleblowers Expose Unhealthy Living Conditions, Contaminated Food for Missouri Troops in Europe
Today U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) sent a letter to General Christopher G. Cavoli, Commander of the United States European Command, demanding he take action to provide Missouri troops deployed to Poland with basic necessities after reports detail ongoing unhealthy living conditions on base. Whistleblowers recently notified Senator Hawley's office that Missouri guardsmen have been left to rely on family members' shipments of food and bottled water while overseas. "My office has received numerous reports of contaminated food and water supplies that have sickened members of the 1221st Transportation Company, an Army National Guard unit deployed in Swietoszow, Poland," wrote Senator Hawley. Over the course of five months, the contaminated supply of food and...
NEW WHISTLEBLOWER ALLEGATION: Secret Service Failed to Properly Train Agents Assigned to Candidate Details, Trump Rally
Yesterday U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) sent a letter to Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe following new whistleblower allegations that Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents who partnered with the Secret Service for protective details were improperly trained. Reports indicate that this deficient training extended to the Butler, Pa., rally where former president Donald Trump was shot.“Whistleblower allegations to my office report that the only training received by many HSI agents reassigned to work protective details is a single two-hour webinar on Microsoft Teams featuring pre-recorded videos,” wrote Senator Hawley. “The whistleblower alleged that these videos were not substantive and their playback was frequently riddled with technical mishaps, leaving the HSI agents...
Hawley Seeks Justice after Murder of Missouri Boy, Demands Cash Bond of Illegal Immigrant Killer NOT be Reduced
This week U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) sent a letter to the presiding judge overseeing the prosecution of illegal immigrant Endrina Bracho, who killed Missouri's 12-year-old Travis Wolfe in a head-on collision. "On December 20, 2023, Endrina Bracho was driving without a license, in the wrong lane, and 35 miles per hour over the speed limit, when she crashed head-on into a vehicle carrying 12-year-old Travis Wolfe," Senator Hawley wrote. "Travis tragically died from his injuries. Moreover, since Ms. Bracho was unlawfully present in the country, her lack of documentation initially made it difficult for investigators to identify her."In response to news of a possible bond reduction hearing in Bracho’s case, Senator Hawley argued, "My office has been...
NEW WHISTLEBLOWER ALLEGATION: Secret Service Prevented Extra Security Assets for Trump Rally
Today U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) sent a letter to Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe following new whistleblower allegations that call into question Acting Director Rowe's testimony regarding the denial of additional security assets for former President Trump’s event in Butler, Pa. "[O]fficials at Secret Service headquarters encouraged agents in charge of the trip not to request any additional security assets in its formal manpower request—effectively denying these assets through informal means," wrote Senator Hawley. He continued, "These new allegations suggest that CSD personnel, counter-sniper teams, and other critical security assets were not included in the manpower request for the Butler trip because Secret Service officials told the...
Hawley Blasts Mayorkas After Shocking Report Finds DHS Lost Thousands of Children
Yesterday U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) sent a letter to U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas regarding a recent report published by DHS’s Inspector General revealing catastrophic failures in the agency’s ability to protect unaccompanied migrant children.According to the report, DHS may have lost track of more than a quarter million unaccompanied children and failed to notify other agencies in certain cases.“As the report explains, your agency’s failure to issue court notices to these children limits the ability to monitor their location and status,” wrote Senator Hawley. “In the Inspector General’s words: without such ability, there is thus “no assurance that [the children] are safe from trafficking,...
Hawley to NLRB: Support Amazon Delivery Drivers
Today U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) sent a letter to National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo about the NLRB's investigation into unfair labor practice charges concerning Amazon's Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program. The structure of the DSP program has enabled Amazon to skirt its obligations to their workers under federal labor law—even though the company exerts almost complete control over DSP drivers. "These practices have allowed Amazon to unfairly profit off of workers who they refuse to acknowledge as legal employees," wrote Senator Hawley. "I urge you to take appropriate action to ensure the NLRB allocates sufficient resources to adjudicate these unfair labor practice charges promptly. Doing so will ensure a level playing...
BREAKING: Hawley Calls for Lead Site Agent at Butler Rally to be Suspended Following New Whistleblower Allegations
U.S. Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) sent a letter to Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe following new whistleblower allegations suggesting that the lead site agent at the July 13 Butler, Pa., rally was known to lack competence in the role and failed to implement appropriate security protocols. "New whistleblower allegations to my office directly question decisions made by Secret Service’s lead site agent principally responsible for securing the July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania," wrote Senator Hawley. "This is especially alarming because during your testimony on July 30, you stated that this agent was 'still operational [...] They’re still doing protective visits.' Your refusal to hold this individual accountable is increasingly inexplicable...
